The outpouring of support for Alex Kogut and her family was in the hundreds as the New Hartford teen was laid to rest. Students, friends and family paid their final respects at Kogut's funeral in New Hartford.  The SUNY Brockport student was murdered in her dorm room last weekend.  Her boyfriend, Clayton Whittemore is charged with her murder and is being held without bail.

As a community continues to mourn the loss of New Hartford teen Alexandra Kogut funeral services will be held on Thursday. It will take place at St. John the Evangelist Church in New Hartford at noon. New Hartford Teen Alex Kogut Murdered
A community is in mourning after losing New Hartford teen Alexandra Kogut.  The SUNY Brockport student was killed over the weekend.  Her boyfriend, 21-year old Clayton Whittemore of New Hartford, has been charged with second-degree murder.  He pleaded not guilty and is being held without bail until he returns to court Thursday.
