Tad & Polly’s Summer Vacation [PHOTOS]

Every year we plan a trip to Tad's home in Illinois to visit family.  It's so far out in the country, there's little to no cell service, which means little to no disruptions and lots of rest and relaxation.

Peace & Quiet

There's bean and corn fields for as far as the eye can see, along miles and miles of dirt road.

Dairy Queen

There may be no cell service, but there is a Dairy Queen. We tried to eat there at least once a day!

Golfing

Lots of rest and relaxation means lots of golf.

You know it's "Redneck Golf" when the tee marker is a beer can.

Fishing

Fishing too, I've got the poison ivy to prove it. Should have seen the one that got away.

Grand Kids

Any time spent with grand kids is a good time. They make you feel young again. Although, sometime I felt old too.
