A no travel advisory means DON'T travel unless it's necessary. But despite being warned of the weather and terrible road conditions, our daughter just HAD to go snowboarding. I guess that's necessary. Since she knows better than her parents, she hit the road. She came home to break the news she got into an accident.

Luckily, no one was injured in the accident. The car slid into a guard rail, cracking the front end due to slippery, snow covered roads. A problem someone tried to warn her about.

Although there's no reason to be upset over an accident, especially one with no injuries, there IS reason to be upset over kids not listening. When will they learn? Parents really DO know best.

What did your parents try and warn you about that you didn't heed?
