It's that time of year. Tad and I are headed back to The Haunted Forest in Williamstown. Can you guess who will scream louder. If last year is any indication, it won't be me. Find out Saturday when we'll be back at The Haunted Forest from 8pm-10pm.

There's something for all ages at The Haunted Forest. Take a walk through the Dark Harvest Trail, travel on the Haunted Wagon or, if you dare, enter the new attraction, The Slaughter House.

Insane Asylum/The Slaughter House

Last year we started with the scariest of the three attractions, entering the Insane Asylum, where you meet the nurse who leads you through. Thank God she was there. It was so DARK, you couldn't even see your hand in front of your face. Tad was just happy to find the door marked EXIT. This year the Asylum has been transformed into The Slaughter House that may not be your thing "if close quarters isn’t your thing. We strongly suggest you stay away from our cabin in the woods. The Family there has their very own special brand of southern hospitality. Though we’re sure they’d love to invite you in as their guest, we aren’t so sure they’ll want you to leave."

Dark Harvest Walking Trail

A large group of us walked through the trail where we ran into zombies, chainsaws and things that bump in the night.  Luckily the trail was lit by torches so you could kinda see where you were going. Beware, there's something hiding behind every corner.

Wagon/Hearse Ride

We choose to ride the wagon through the other side of the haunted forest where we ran into clowns, Freddy Krueger, more zombies and Michael Myers. After we got off the wagon, one person said 'watching the guy in the red hat made the trip.' The guy in the red hat was Tad who stood for most of the ride after someone touched his back from the forest.

Food & Fire

In addition to the three attractions, you can also enjoy food and drinks around a huge campfire.  There's even spooky movies playing to keep you entertained while you wait for your turn to be scared.
