Rascal Flatts CD, 'Rewind' is now in stores and the guys are pretty excited about the new material.  We spent some time with the voice behind the band, Gary LeVox to get his thoughts on the album, 14 years on the road and general goofiness.  What else would you expect from us?

2000 FrogFest Guest

It's unusual how things occasionally time out, in June of 2000 3 "unheard of" kids pulled into FrogFest.  14 years and 9 albums later, those 3 guys play for thousands of screaming fans every night.

So how does Rascal Flatts keep their sound fresh and relevant? 'We really worked hard on that. I think there's enough songs about cold beer on ice and tailgates. We wanted to say something else a little bit different. We used a different producer. There's not one thing on this album that I would change. It's the most favorite album, for me, that we've ever done,' says Levox.

Levox says when choosing songs for this album, they tried something a little different. 'We get pitched songs from all over the world and we said if there's a song you think we wouldn't like, pitch us that one.'

Next Single?

So what's the next single? Levox isn't sure but narrowed it down. 'I think Payback, DJ Tonight and I Like the Sound of That, one of those three.'

Despite being referred to as the boy band of country music, singing pop country, Levox doesn't seem to mind. 'As long as you're buying records, I don't care what you call it,' he jokes.

However you refer to it, Polly calls 'Rewind' a hit album.
