Syracuse University Team Featured on College Arm Westling Competition on ESPNU

Get ready to grip it and rip it in a new, action-packed sport; coed College Arm Wrestling Championship, featuring the New York Crushers from Syracuse University taking on their arch rivals, the Connecticut Wrecking Crew.

'CAWL to Arms' debuts on ESPNU Tuesday, May 13th at 7:00 PM ET with Michelle Carazas, Kevin Mata, Eileen Bell, Nick Leonardis, Steve Zavilensky and Kelly Sheptock from the NY Crushers showing their muscle next week.

'Impact Wrestling' star and five-time 'Big Brother' star, Jessie Godderz, will co-host the competition and says it's more intense than any pro sport. 'The intensity that college kids bring to the table is unmatched. College sports is where your drive and the highest testosterone comes from and everybody's competitive edge and nature comes out.'

Godderz is excited for the competition to begin and believes it'll be a huge success. 'I think this could definitely sweep across the nation. I had the time of my life. I have nothing but the utmost certainty that this is going to be a growing sport and it's going to be phenomenal. It's the college kids that make this show. There's nothing else like it.'

Jim Bryan will serve as referee for the College Arm Wrestling Championship. 'This guy, he is it when it comes to professional arm wrestling,' says Godderz.

Although we have to wait to see if New York CRUSHES Connecticut next week, there's a number of orange shirts with happy expressions in the premiere video. Lets hope that's a sign of things to come for SYRACUSE!
