Superstitious About 2013?
With the new year, some new superstitions may arise…specifically the number 13. This is the first time in a century that we’ve had a year ending in 13. The last time this happened of course was in 1913. Add to that, we have two Friday the 13ths this year – one in September and the second in December, so we have plenty of time to worry about that.

So how about a brief review of Triskaidekaphobia (the fear of the number 13) according to Wikipedia:
“Triskaidekaphobia (from Greek tris meaning “3″, kai meaning “and”, deka meaning “10″ and phobia meaning “fear” or “morbid fear”) is fear of the number 13; it is a superstition and related to a specific fear of Friday the 13th”
The good news is that in 2012, we had three Friday the 13ths, the most you can have in one year, and in 2013 we only have two (knock wood).
