SUNYIT Hosts Nanotechnology Forum Thursday
If you’re interested in nanotechnology, you may want to head to the Marcy campus of SUNYIT tomorrow.

What is nanotechnology? According to Wikipedia:
“Nanotechnology (sometimes shortened to “nanotech”) is the study of manipulating matter on an atomic and molecular scale. Generally, nanotechnology deals with developing materials, devices, or other structures possessing at least one dimension sized from 1 to 100 nanometres.”
Here are the details from our sister station, WIBX:
“SUNYIT is hosting the first in a series of public nanotechnology forums, discussing the industry’s growth in the Mohawk Valley.
This Thursday’s event starts at 1 p.m., and will feature addresses from Congressman Richard Hanna, Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi and State Senator Joe Griffo. SUNYIT President Wolf Yeigh will deliver the welcoming speech.
