Summer Bucket List: What Will Be On Yours?
The idea behind a bucket list is to create a list of things you hope to do before you "kick the bucket," but you can also use the idea for any deadline—say, a list of things you wish to do before you enter your next decade of life, or before the summer ends. Since today marked the unofficial first day of summer, I decided to share 30 ideas of things you can do to start your list.
- Make ice cream in a bag! Not sure how? Check this out!
- Go on a summer scavenger hunt
- Take a trip to the Children’s Museum
- Find a Summer concert and go, such as Frogfest....hint hint.
- Have a picnic at the park
- Go to a drive-in movie
- Sometimes it seems like it never rains in the summer, so do a rain dance to see if it works
- Go to the pool
- Have a water balloon fight
- Watch fireworks
- Go on a hike
- Find a lightening bug
- Go on a boat!
- Read a book
- Plant something and see how big it gets before the kids go back to school
- Watch a parade
- Blow bubbles
- Find a train and go on a ride
- Visit a farmers market and pick a new vegetable to try
- Find an ice cream truck and get ice cream
- Make a water obstacle course
- Visit an aquarium
- Make a list of 10 things you love about summer
- Lay on the grass and find pictures in the clouds
- Eat a sno-cone
- Go camping
- Play flash light tag
- Ride in the car with the windows all the way down
- Whenever the mood strikes- turn up the music and have a dance party
- Run through the sprinklers
These ideas aren't original, I borrowed them from The Pinning Mama. Either way, you can use this as a start to your list and add some more things that you want to accomplish.
What will you add?
