Sugarland Covers Bob Dylan

Sugarland is well known for performing “unique” cover songs during their shows including hits by The B-52′s, Kings of Leon and REM among others. Now according to Amnesty International they are contributing a live performance of Bob Dylan’s “Tonight I’ll Be Staying Here With You” to a Dylan tribute collection–a 4-CD set–to be released in January, 2012. If you attended their September 4th show at the New York State Fair you got an advance hearing of the song. Check out the video of Sugarland performing “Tonight I’ll Be Staying Here With You” at that show.
The Bob Dylan tribute collection “Chimes of Freedom: The Songs of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International” will be available physically and digitally in the U.S. January 24th.
