SU Orange Up Against Arch Rival Tonight

If you're a Syracuse University basketball fan, you know that it doesn't get any better than when the Orange takes on its arch rival Georgetown. Tonight, SU hosts the Hoyas at the Carrier Dome, game time - 7:00 p.m., and it's estimated that over 30,000 fans will be on hand.

According to our sister station WIBX:

"Jim Boeheim moved into a tie for third on the all-time wins list as the Orange manhandled St. John’s 95-70 on Saturday at Madison Square Garden.

The win for Boeheim gives him 879 for his career, tying him with Dean Smith."

According to the latest national A.P. poll, Syracuse is ranked number two, while Georgetown moved up to number 12.
