Study Says Men With Beards Are Healthier

Some men sport them, some don’t. Some women love them some don’t. We’re talking beards here and a new study out of Australia reported by The Daily Mail found that men who have them receive a number of health benefits. Health benefits?
Among the findings posted by the University of Southern Queensland,
–The facial covering beards and mustaches provide serves to protect the face from the sun and the skin from aging, thanks to 30 percent less exposure to harmful UV rays.
–Beards may also trap allergens that cause asthma attacks, protect the bearded masses from catching colds and help keep skin from drying out.
–Not shaving means no more nasty rashes. Shaving is usually the main cause of bacterial infections in the beard area.
–Over time, facial hair can help keep the skin young and in a good condition. The hair stops water leaving the skin — keeping it moisturised — by protecting it from the wind, which dries the skin and disturbs the protective skin barrier,
