Storms Strand Keith Urban in New York City Forcing Him to Cancel Cleveland Concert [VIDEO]
There's not much you can do about Mother Nature. Keith Urban found that out yesterday afternoon when severe thunderstorms grounded planes, leaving him stranded in New York City.
Keith apologized to his fans, saying he was at the airport for 'hours and hours, waiting to take off. They've had these planes grounded pretty much all afternoon, waiting for this storm to blow by. So we can't play tonight. We are really, really sorry.'
The storm may be a blessing in disguise for fans in Cleveland. Keith plans to make the show up on Sunday and encourages fans to 'come back because we are going to play way longer. That's all we can do to make it up to you.'
The new concert is being called 'an evening with,' according to a message on KeithUrban.net, and Keith is expected to play songs he's not yet played on his 'Light the Fuse' tour.
This is the second time Keith has been forced to cancel a show due to severe storms. His Austin Texas concert was called off due to storms in August.
Keith Urban promised fans his new album 'Fuse' would have a 'Little Bit of Everything' and sound a little different. 'Fuse' is not only different, but one of Keith's best albums in years. There are collaborations with Miranda Lambert and Eric Church , along with a number of other great songs you can't stop listening to.
