There's not much you can do about Mother Nature.  Keith Urban found that out yesterday afternoon when severe thunderstorms grounded planes, leaving him stranded in New York City.

Keith apologized to his fans, saying he was at the airport for 'hours and hours, waiting to take off. They've had these planes grounded pretty much all afternoon, waiting for this storm to blow by. So we can't play tonight. We are really, really sorry.'

The storm may be a blessing in disguise for fans in Cleveland.  Keith plans to make the show up on Sunday and encourages fans to 'come back because we are going to play way longer. That's all we can do to make it up to you.'

The new concert is being called 'an evening with,' according to a message on KeithUrban.net, and Keith is expected to play songs he's not yet played on his 'Light the Fuse' tour.

This is the second time Keith has been forced to cancel a show due to severe storms.  His Austin Texas concert was called off due to storms in August.
