STOP the heart emjoi requests! It's annoying and it's pointless. Before you get mad, let me explain.

I received 12 requests yesterday. TWELVE in one day. And every time I get a request through Facebook messenger, my phone goes off and it's been going off non-stop for days.

The following message is what is what is being sent.

If you accept the request, this is what it looks like on your Facebook page. But if you're scrolling through Facebook and haven't received the request yet, although I don't know how you couldn't, would you even know what it means?

First, there is no such thing as Breast Cancer Prevention week. There is a National Cancer Prevention Month in February. There' also National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is in October. Second, what awareness is this raising if no one knows what it means.

Sure it may create conversation, but how many will people actually ask the question vs just scrolling past without a second though. If you want to raise awareness maybe the words 'cancer,' 'prevention' or 'awareness' should be included with the heart. Or even 'Check your breasts.'

If it makes you feel like you're doing something, even though you're really not, then post the heart. But for the love of GOD, please stop sending requests.
