The Mohawk Valley is getting national attention thanks to Steve’s Restorations and Hot Rods. The Frankfort, New York business that specialize in high quality antique restorations, redesigns and creating one-of–a-kind vehicles and motorcycles is on the History Channel's 'American Restorations' for the next several months.

Some of the coolest projects we've ever done you're going to see on the show.

Steve Hale, who began his restoration business years ago, will be featured on 9 of the 13 'American Restorations' episodes this season. This weeks episode shows how Hale's team created a handicap accessible Torino. "It's basically a rotted out piece of junk that look like it should be in the scarp yard turned into a beautiful show car," says Hale.

The business isn't the only thing getting attention. Hale says the Mohawk Valley is also highlighted. "Landmarks and staples of the area you're going to see on one of the episodes. Something you would have seen on the side of the road that everybody though was awesome at the time. In two weeks I can give more details but it's going to be a wicked cool episode. I think this is really great to get a spotlight on the Mohawk Valley."

Throughout the 13 episodes Hale says they'll be doing a little bit of everything. "You're going to see everything from neon signs to custom car art. We do some really wild stuff. Some of the coolest projects we've ever done you're going to see on the show."

Tune in to the History Channel's 'American Restorations' Friday night's at 9 to see Steve, his crew and the Mohawk Valley.

The premiere episode featured the restoration of an arm wrestling game. "It was a really complicated restoration since the whole thing was in Italian. We had to figure out how to read an Italian wiring diagram," says Hale.
