The Carolina Panthers lost one of their biggest fans when they let wide receiver Steve Smith go. Gavin is so heartbroken after his dad tells him the news, he breaks down into tears and refuses to watch football anymore.

Dad wonders 'Who are we going to cheer for on Sundays now?'

'NOBODY! I hate the Panthers' Gavin yells.

His sister Sophia is happier than Gavin, saying 'now we have to cheer for Cam Newton, my favorite!'

Gavin's reaction is not only getting lots of attention on YouTube, it's also grabbed the attention of Steve Smith, who used Twitter to connect with Gavin and his family. I wonder if a visit from Gavin's favorite player will ease the pain of Smith playing for another team.
