They're back.  Mikel Knight vans and buses have been spotted around Central New York again today. They were seen in Herkimer this morning.

The street teams peddle CDs in parking lots and were last seen in the area in April when police were warning people to use caution. They left town after our story went viral.

Knight hires people known as the ‘Maverick Dirt Road Street Teams’ to travel the country selling his CDs. His ‘team’ has been accused of being overly aggressive in an article by Music journalist Kyle “Trigger” Coroneos. Team members have been arrested in several states including April 4th where the Fleetwood Police in Pennsylvania arrested the folks on several solicitation violations.

Former street team members started a Facebook page to make the public aware of how they were treated. There are claims of abuse, being over worked and two were killed in an accident in June of 2014.

Court records in Nashville show Knight has been arrested a number of times on several charges including assault, harassment and theft.

We spoke with Knight's people the last time he was in town and offered him time on the morning show to talk about his team, his music and rumors of his tactics, but he declined.

A former street team member even shared his first hand experience on YouTube.
