State Trooper Dies After Being Hit By Car
A New York State Trooper who was struck by a vehicle in the Town of Wilton has died.
55-year old Timothy Pratt was helping the driver of a tractor trailer near the Wilton barracks when he was hit by a passing car. He died this morning at Albany Medical Center.
Pratt became a member of the State Police in 1987 and served his entire career with Troop G in Saratoga County. He served in the United States Air Force from 1979 to 1986.
Pratt is survived by his fiancée, two sons and a daughter.
Governor Cuomo is directing all state flags to half staff in honor of Pratt.
