National Weather Service Issues Hazardous Weather Outlook

The National Weather Service out of Binghamton has issued a "Hazardous Weather Outlook" for our listening area tonight. First off, what in the world does that even mean?

This outlook is in effect for the following Counties:

NORTHERN ONEIDA-STEUBEN-SCHUYLER-CHEMUNG-TOMPKINS-MADISON-
SOUTHERN ONEIDA-CORTLAND-CHENANGO-OTSEGO-TIOGA-BROOME-DELAWARE- SULLIVAN-BRADFORD-SUSQUEHANNA-NORTHERN WAYNE-WYOMING-LACKAWANNA- LUZERNE-PIKE-SOUTHERN WAYNE

So what exactly is the problem here? They wanted to issue this due to the fact there is a chance for frost tonight across most of Central New York.

ANYONE WITH GARDENING INTERESTS MAY WANT TO TAKE SENSITIVE PLANTS INDOORS FOR TONIGHT, ESPECIALLY IN THE NORMALLY COLDER AREAS. DAYS FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY."

Just keep that in mind if you have special plants outdoors.
