Spring Forward! Daylight Savings Time Starts Sunday
There are some sure signs of spring we look forward to every year. The return of the robins, the first crocus bravely sticking its head out of the snow, grandparents returning from Florida and, of course, the return of daylight savings time. The latter will kick in early this Sunday morning at 2AM. Some things you may not know about Daylight Savings Time.

Indiana has long been a hotbed of Daylight Saving Time controversy. Historically, the state’s two western corners, which fall in the Central Time Zone, observed DST, while the remainder of the state, in the Eastern Time zone, followed year-round Standard Time. An additional complication was that five southeastern counties near Cincinnati and Louisville unofficially observed DST to keep in sync with those cities.
