“Spoiler Alert” Heads 2013 List of Banned Words

Every year Lake Superior State University outside of Detroit takes time out from its academic rigors to post a list of the most over used words and phrases of the past year. This year topping the list of proposed banned words is “spoiler alert”, a supposedly thoughtful way of letting people know about a key plot point in a TV show or movie. There are more.
