If you travel a lot, or looking for a quick fix, we have plenty of fast food options in Central New York. Another major chain is the victim of a recent hacking.

Sonic has announced that it was alerted of unusual activity with credit cards at some of its fast food locations. There are 3600 Sonic Drive-Ins across the country with two in Syracuse, one in Binghamton, and two in Albany.

According to KrebsOnSecurity, which stores were hacked is still under investigation. This means you should check your accounts and see if you see anything fishy. WGNA reports that Sonic released a statement saying that they are working closely with forensic experts and law enforcement to figure out the magnitude of the breech and the issue.
