EXCLUSIVE: Soldiers Turn 3-Year-Old Ilion Boy Into An Honorary Bandit [VIDEO]
Logan Winter of Ilion is only 3 years-old but he may already know what he wants to be when he grows up. He loves soldiers and his story caught the attention of several soldiers already serving. Sgt Aaron Laube in Fort Sill, Oklahoma heard about Logan spending his Memorial Day weekend putting flags on the graves of our fallen soldiers. He was so touched by Logan, he made him an Honorary Bandit of Bravo Battery, 1st Battalion, 31st Field Artillery.
The same day Logan received Sgt Laube's package, he received another surprise from a soldier at Ft Drum. Sgt Dan Welch and his wife traveled to Ilion to have dinner with Logan and his family. But not before Sgt Welch and Logan did some pushups and jumping jacks. "He's getting in shape getting ready to go," says Logan's dad Jason. "It was a really nice day for him."
No one knows what's in Logan's future, but all signs are pointing to him becoming a solider. "Just not yet," dad jokes.
