SNL has made fun of 'Game of Thrones' before, but with the third season of HBO's fantasy series reaching all time high ratings, it was certainly time for a revisit. However, the target this time isn't the show itself, but rather the fans. Check it out below.

The sketch, like so many SNL scenes, takes place at a game show. However, this isn't an ordinary game show: it's "Game of Game of Thrones,' a trivia show where fans of the show and books compete against one another. Bill Hader plays OJ Sampson, the host with a regrettable name, and Zach Galifianakis plays a contestant wearing a regrettable dragon costume. While the rest of the panel effortlessly answers questions about Westeros lore, Galifianakis keeps getting stuck with questions pertaining to real world ("What is a Roth IRA?"). There's plenty to love here if you're a 'Game of Thrones' fan, but it reaches its apex when Jaime Lannister himself (AKA, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) shows up for a surprise appearance.

SNL tends to retreat to the "fake game show" well an awful lot, but we wouldn't mind if they were all this funny and surprising.
