American Idol's Top 6 were among rock royalty as they took on some of Queen's biggest hits for the first round. They choose their own songs for round two. Country girl Skylar Laine and soulful Joshua Ledet were the standouts of the night. Check out the top moments and vote for who you think will go home tonight.

  • Skylar Laine 'The Show Must Go On'

Skylar Laine is on a roll. She blew the judges and the audience away with her version of Queen's 'The Show Must Go On.' She reminds me of a cross between Reba McEntire and Miranda Lambert. Win or lose, Skylar will likely have a big career in country music.

  • Skylar Laine 'Tattoos on This Town'

Jason Aldean would be so proud. Skylar did his song 'Tattoos on This Town' justice. She hit a few notes at the end of the song I don't even think Jason could hit. Skylar has picked the right time to hit her stride. I doubt she'll go anywhere this week.

  • Joshua Ledet 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love'

Score another standing ovation for Joshua Ledet. He put his flavor into Queen's 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love' and had everyone on their feet.

  • Joshua Ledet 'Ready for Love'

Although the judges caution against singing unfamiliar songs, it doesn't seem to matter for Joshua. He showed off his softer side with 'Ready for Love' and had everyone on their feet again. I sometime feel Joshua is a little over the top but this was my favorite performance from him. I doubt Joshua will be going anywhere this week either.

  • Jessica Sanchez 'Dance With My Father'

It was hit and miss with Jessica Sanchez. She was average for the Queen round, singing 'Bohemian Rhapsody.' It was her second song that may have saved her from going home this week. Jennifer Lopez said her version of 'Dance With My Father' was the best she'd ever heard.

  • Elise Testone 'I Want it All'

Elise Testone also had a 50/50 night. She killed Queen's 'I Want it All.' It was the perfect song for her. But she went with Jimi Hendrix's 'Bold As Love,' a song I'd never heard and it may hurt her. Elise could be in trouble this week.

  • Phillip Phillips 'Fat Bottom Girls'

Phillip Phillips better hope his fans vote and vote and vote. Although he's a favorite to make the finals, he wasn't a standout last night. Phillip did great with Queen's 'Fat Bottom Girls' but his second song was another story. He choose 'The Stone,' another song I'd never heard and Randy Jackson warned him about his song choices.

  • Hollie Cavanagh 'The Climb'

Hollie Cavanagh could be the one to go this week. Her disconnection to the song and the fans continues to be her downfall. She sang Queen's 'Save Me' and received a lukewarm response from the judges. But she closed the show with a bang. She had the judges on their feet with Miley Cyrus' 'The Climb.' She sang it beautifully and finally managed to connect. The question now is, is it too late.
