It's down to the final 5 on American Idol. Country girl Skylar Laine escaped elimination after being in the bottom three. Ryan Seacrest sent her to safety, leaving as predicted, Hollie Cavanagh and Elise Testone in danger of leaving.
In the end it was Elise who's Idol journey was over. But she won't be going far. The Idol Top 10 will hit the road for a tour and they'll make four stops in New York.
