Sklylar Laine’s Country Roots Among Top Moments on American Idol Top 12 Girls

The Top 12 girls took to the American Idol stage and all I can say is, boys, watch out. These girls will give the Top 13 guys a run for their money this season. So who stood out among all those big voices? Check out our top moments from last night's show on Fox.
Skylar Laine
Stay With Me
Three girls showed off their country roots but it was Skylar Laine who led the pack. She choose a strange song with 'Stay with Me' by The Faces, but she sounded great. Randy Jackson called her a cross between Reba and Kelly Clarkson. I hope the country gal sticks around, but she's up against some stiff competition.
Hollie Cavanagh
How can a girl that small have such a big voice. Hollie Cavanagh took on the infamous Christina Aguliera song 'Reflection' and blew everyone away.
Jessica Sanchez
Jessica Sanchez had everyone on their feet, including all three judges after her rendition of Jennifer Hudson's 'Love You I Do.' I admit I've never heard the song, and wasnt' as impressed as everyone else, but I've been wrong before.
Shannon Magrane
When you have so much great vocal talent, it comes down to song choice. Shannon Magrane has a great voice but I'm not sure the song she choose will help her. She sang 'Go Light Your World' by Kathy Triccoli and although she was fabulous, I wonder if the unfamiliar song will hurt her.
Elise Testone
Elise Testone put the wraps on the show with Adele's 'One and Only.' And what a way to end. She started at the piano and finished leaving everything on the stage. Wow!
Jen Hirsh
One and Only
Elise wasn't the only one to take on Adele. Jen Hirsh also showed off her vocals with the same song. Both killed it, but if it came down to a choice between the two, I'd have to go with Elise.
Hallie Day
Feelin' Good
Hallie Day choose Nina Simone's 'Feelin' Good,' which how you felt when she was done. Halllie has been an early favorite but without sounding repetitive, she's up against a lot of great girls this year.
