February is Black History Month, a time to focus on African American culture and to celebrate their many achievements and contributions. Comedy troupe Improv Now believes in order to properly celebrate Black History Month, you should get to know a Black person. So they set out to make that happen in the ski resort town of Aspen, Colorado, where African Americans make up just point-four-percent of the population.

A man sets up a booth with a sign that reads 'Meet a Black Man.'  Most people stop by, say hi, shake his hand. But the icing on the cake, is at the end of the video, when a kids yells 'mom, come here, there's a black guy down here.'  Her reply, 'Let me get my camera.'

Some people just live sheltered lives I guess.  I use to live near Toronto, Ontario where you could walk down Younge Street and see every walk of life.  We also spent time in Flagstaff, Arizona, where one minute you'd see a college student with a blue mo-hawk and the next, an Indian from the reservation.

Check out the experiment in the video.
