Should You Have A TV In Your Bedroom?
It’s been said that people fell asleep watching Johnny Carson, Jay Leno or David Letterman for years. I was never one of them-not because I didn’t care for them but because I never had a TV in my bedroom. Truth be told, I never wanted a TV in the bedroom for a number of reasons. A new Redbook survey seems to say I’m not alone. Some 65% of the respondents said “no” to a TV in the boudoir with columnist Karen Karbo explaining,
“TV is the bedroom ruins pretty much everything good that happens there—the relaxing vibe, yes, but also sleep and, ahem, sex.”
Personally, when my wife and I turn in we usually will pick up the books we are reading and read until we are too tired to keep our peepers open.
