Friends and family of Rachael Mattice, who has been missing for over a week, reached out to Shania Twain to help bring her home and Shania responded.

Mattice's best friend Cynthia Nellis asked if we could help spread the word on her disappearance from a camp in Well, New York. Since Twain is Mattice's favorite artist we sent a message to Shania's record label in Nashville. "Shania Twain is Rachael's favorite country artist. I asked for help reaching out to Shania to see if she would send a message to Rachael and help bring her home," Cynthia wrote on Facebook.

Shania's record label sent an email to her management, while Cynthia made a plea on social media. "Rachael's parents even called her Shania when she was little. She had every tape and CD, and knows every lyric to every song. She was heartbroken last year when your concert was cancelled in Albany. Going to see you in concert is a dream come true for Rachael. I'm reaching out to you in hopes that you can help us bring her home."

Mattice went missing on June 22nd. Rachael’s father Dave went to see her at the family camp on Algonquin and saw her vehicle was there with the car door open, but she was gone.

Rachael's mother Wendy, says she talks to Rachael two to three times a day by phone or social media but has not heard from her in several days. Her last post on Facebook was June 18.

Mattice is 5’3″ tall, with brown hair and blue eyes and weighing 125 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at (518) 548-3113.

Family and friends are asking everyone to print out the flyer below and post everywhere.
