See stunning photos and a time lapse video from the Kirkville brush fire that over 100 firefighters battled in Onondaga county.

Stacy Brown caught the footage while taking a moon walk at Green Lakes State Park. The amateur photographer from Utica says she just sat on the beach and watched the flames. "It was so close we actually got ash in our hair."

There's no word on what started the fire that could be seen from miles away. Firefighters have the blaze contained this morning, Saturday May 21st according to WKTV.
