Sears Annual Safety Day Coming October 4

Is there anything more aggravating than trying to get child safety seats properly installed?  Its such a pain, we swap cars rather moving seats to a different vehicle.  You can get some help with that and many other safety tips, as Sears and KMart host their annual safety day.  Click for the details on the wide variety of events.

Mike Sigal, who is helping coordinate the safety day, says they'll be at Sangertown Square from 9 to 3 this Saturday, October 4.  In addition to the child seat safety checks, there's New Hartford, NY Mills and Yorkville Fire Departments as well New Hartford and Whitestown Police Departments.

Mike say if the weather permits they'll have a helicopter from Lifenet and the Utica Zoomobile.  Here's just a few of the activities:

• DWI virtual goggles
• Driving while texting safety
• New Hartford and Yorkville Fire Departments will have firetrucks, dalmatians, and a smoke house.
• New Hartford and Whitestown Police Department doing a child car seat safety check.
• Center for Missing and Exploited children will be doing child i.d's
