Sean Avery Reveals Real Reason He Was Booted From ‘Dancing With the Stars’ – WATCH

Former New York Ranger Sean Avery claims he got booted from 'Dancing With the Stars' over a disagreement with the show's producers. He and his partner Karina Smirnoff were sent home after the first week. 'We kinda knew Monday that our fate was sealed' Avery says on Good Morning America.

Avery was upset with how producers portrayed him in a package they ran the first week. 'It was a tacky attempt to show me as the bad boy of Dancing With the Stars. I think in reality TV, you have a disagreement with the producers, generally that seals your fate.'

What, you mean reality TV isn't real? The viewer votes don't really count? What's the point of voting at all?

Avery has no hard feelings though, saying 'I made a friend for life in Karina and I did the show for a New York charity, so it was a win win for me.'
