Scotty McCreery Takes on Travis Tritt on Idol [Video]

Country boy Scotty McCreery had to choose a song from the year he was born.  He's sang songs from Josh Turner, Garth Brooks and John Michael Montgomery.  Last night he picked Travis Tritt's "Can I Trust You With My Heart" from 1993.   And since it was songs from the year they were born we got to see baby pictures. Scotty made a cute baby.

Lauren Alaina tried to rebound from last week when she sang Shania Twain's "Any Man of Mine."  She put her country flavor into Melissa Etheridge's "I'm The Only One" from 1994

All the songs from last nights show are available on iTunes and the proceeds will go towards relief efforts in Japan.  

Season nine winner Lee DeWyze returns tonight when one more will go home.  My guess would be either Karen Rodriguez or Naima Adedapo will be sent packing.  Tune into FOX at 8 tonight to find out who goes home or tomorrow morning for our Idol update at 8:10.
