Savannah Guthrie Denies Being Told to Wear Flats

Savannah Guthrie is 5-10 in her bare feet. Matt Lauer is, well, somewhat shorter. When Savannah wears heels she seems to tower over Matt so producers of the “Today Show” were rumored to have told her to stick with flats. And that’s not all!
A source claims NBC’s ordered sky-high Savannah to “wear lower heels” and “lower her anchor chair” to compensate.

Savannah, however, has issued a statement in hopes of shoeing–I mean shooing–the loose talk away.
“Sorry, folks, but that tale is as tall as my heels.”

Maybe Matt should get a pair of those old disco platform shoes that were so popular back in the 70′s.
