Saranac Thursday Hits All The Notes Tonight
It’s Thursday, and in central New York that means “Saranac Thursday” at the F.X. Matt Brewery at Court and Varick Streets, Utica. After the big after-Boilermaker party hosted by the brewery last Sunday, things get right back on schedule for tonight’s activities.

The live musical entertainment will hit all the notes as Sassafrass Jenkins performs on stage. This is a local group based in Utica that plays a variety of music including country, alternative, blues and jam rock. The gates open at about 5:30 p.m, and the $5.00 admission charge includes on beverage of your choice (must be 21 years of age for the brews). Proceeds of the event go toward the local area United Way. With the weather looking great for the evening, tonight’s Saranac Thursday should be a great way to spend one of the “Frog Days of Summer”.
