Sarah Darling Gets Standing Ovation From Brad Paisley on ‘Rising Star’ [VIDEO]
Nashville has heard of Sarah Darling, but she may soon become a household name after appearing on the new reality singing competition 'Rising Star.' Her performance of Kacey Musgrave's 'Merry Go Round' earned her more than the 70% of the viewers votes to move on and plenty of support from the country music world, including Rising Star judge Brad Paisley.
Thanks @BradPaisley for standing up for me tonight!

Darling is no stranger to reality TV. Last year she appeared on 'The Bachelor.'

Rising Star allows viewers to vote via an App to determine if each singer will advance in the competition. If the voting reaches a certain threshold, the performer moves on. If not, they are sent home. Talk about instant gratification.
It's an interesting concept but the show needs little work. Less talking, more singing!
Other highlights from the premiere, included Jesse Kinch who had the audience screamin' over 'I Put A Spell On You,' and Josh Peavy who looked and talked like a hillbilly, but sang like an angel.
Jesse Kinch 'I Put A Spell on You'
Josh Peavy 'Everything I Do'
Lisa Punch 'How Will I Know'
Macy Kate 'Me & My Broken Heart'
Rising Star continues next Sunday on ABC at 9pm.
