One of our listeners enjoyed her birthday recently in Nashville.  A trip she's always wanted to take.  And she was kind enough to share her vacation pictures with us.  So if you've been thinking about taking a trip to Music City, you may want to take in the sites Sandi and her husband enjoyed.

Grand Ole Opry
You can't go to Nashville and not go to the Grand Ole Opry.  Sandi was lucky enough to see Little Jimmy Dickens and my favorite, Keith Urban.

Arrington Vineyards
Kix Brooks can do more than sing.  He's opened up a vineyard in Nashville called Arrington Vineyards.  I wonder if the wine is any good?

Jack Daniels Distillery
If you're not into wine, how about Jack Daniels?  Sandi took in a tour at the Tennessee whiskey distillery which is the oldest registered distillery in the US.  I know how that tastes and I I'd prefer the wine from Arrington Vineyards.

Country Stars
And when you're in Nasvhille you never know who you'll run into.  Sandi and her husband ran into Aaron Tippin who took time to talk Mac Trucks and John Deere Tractors with her husband.

Then they ran into Sunny Sweeney in the gift shop at the Grand Ole Opry.

Ernest Tubb Record Shop
You can go back in time to the traditional country world at the Ernest Tubb record shop.  The shop has been around4 years and is open 24 hours s a day.

And what would a trip to Nashville be without a trip to the clubs where most stars in country music got their start including Tootsie's and the Wildhorse Saloon

Thanks again to Sandi for sharing all her great pictures of her trip.  Now that's she finally made it to Nashville, she plans to retire there.  She also wants to return in 2014 when the Hall of Fame opens the addition to the museum.  Maybe she'll let me hide in her suitcase.  I love Nasvhille and would also like to live there one day.
