Sales Tax Break On Clothing Purchases Back
As of April 1st, we taxpayers of New York State got a bit of a break. The state has reinstated the sales tax exemption on clothing purchases totalling under $110.

Clothing shoppers in New York will be saving some money
The state’s sales tax exemption on clothing purchases under $110 was fully reinstated on Sunday.
From October, 2010 to March, 2011, the exemption was repealed as the state sought to raise an additional 330-million dollars in revenue.
The exemption was phased back in for purchases of less than $55 from April of 2011 to last month."
