Two Rome women left LOCASH eating some crow after bragging about their cornhole abilities in our Cornhole for a Cause at FrogFest.

"Do you really want to have it with us, because we will win," Preston Brust boasted. "We're ridiculous. I think we're ranked in the cornhole association," said Chris Lucas when asked if they'd take on the winners in the pro division at FrogFest.

Penny Hale and Connie Scailse of Rome were the Cornhole for a Cause champs, winning the opportunity to play Chris and Preston backstage at FrogFest. "These girls were legit," said Chris. "I had a feeling they had skills. But I couldn't even get competitive and mad at the girl I had on my side. She was so sweet. Every time I'd throw it, she'd say 'that was a really good shot.' Then the next thing you know she's throwing them in the hole."

"She was getting in your head," said Chris. It worked because it wasn't even close...21 to 3. "The first game we flubbed."

Game two didn't end well for the boys either, even though they switched to their boards and their bags. "When we got on our boards, they did win, but it was much closer," admitted Chris. "At one point the score got really confusing," explained Preston. "No one really knew what the score was. All the people watching sure kept score real close during the first game when they were whopping our butts. During the second game, they didn't really keep score that close. There was some questionable shots. I'm still not sure how that game ended. I need to go back and watch the tape."

No matter how you watch it or who kept score, the results were the same. Penny and Connie 2 - LOCASH 0. But they were humble in their loss, even sharing on Instagram.

The ladies left with 2 wins under their belts, against self proclaimed 'nationally ranked cornhole champs,' along with new cornhole boards, from Empire Cornhole. Chris and Preston even signed them before taking a few pictures. Watch the action above and see photos of the match below.

FrogFest and the Cornhole for a Cause may be history but Preston can't seem to let the loss go. "I want a rematch."
