Rome Woman Receives Dinner Invite with Dierks Bentley But It’s Fake

UPDATED: Maryanne Armstrong of Rome is a big Dierks Bentley fan. Imagine her surprise when she got a response on instant messenger after commenting on his Facebook page. Turns out it's fake.

Bentley's management team has confirmed the messages are not coming from Dierks and several country artists are experiencing the same thing. "It's been happening to just about every artist in country for the last year."

Dierks will be in town at the Lakeview Amphitheater August 6th but it looks like Maryanne will have to buy a ticket to the show like everyone else.
