Rome Police Reminding Residents To Lock Your Doors

The City of Rome Police Department is asking citizens to remember to lock your vehicle doors at night.

After several break-ins to unlocked vehicles around the city of Rome, police took to Facebook and said the best thing to do is to remove any valuables and be sure to lock all of your vehicle's doors.

The Rome PD says so far, the majority of the vehicles that have been burglarized are those with unlocked doors.

So be sure to hit that lock button when you get home from work, the store or from picking up the kids.
