Rome Man To Compete In World Scrabble Championships

The World Scrabble Championship will be held October 12-16 in Warsaw, Poland and the Mohawk Valley will be represented. According to the WSC website Chris Lipe a computer programmer from Rome will be among those competing for the $20,000 grand prize. Chris, a graduate of Holland Patent High, will be a first time competitor in the event that features players from all over the world.
