Rome Honors America And Salutes The 70s

Another signature event of central New York during the "Frog Days Of Summer" is Rome's "Honor America Days". A new theme has been announced for this year: "Salute to the Seventies".

"It’s been a tough year for disco, but not in Rome as they are getting ready to pay tribute with a “Salute to the Seventies.”

That’s the theme of Honor America Days during this, the 100th Anniversary of the Rome Chamber of Commerce. Event Chair Jacqueline Izzo says they have some special plans, including a “spectacular” fireworks display.
