You may remember Paytin Synakowski. She's the little girl from Little Falls, New York who used her Disney savings to help buy school supplies for other kids. She's at it again and this time she's selling her own toys to help kids in hospitals and shelters.

Last Summer Paytin held a back pack drive raising enough money for 55 book bags filled with supplies. 'She is always looking for ways to help other children,' says Paytin's mom Tracy.

This year Paytin is selling her own toys, collecting cans and bottles and holding raffles to raise money for her new project she is calling 'Kids Kare Bags.' The reusable bags will be given to kids in the hospital, homeless shelter, or domestic violence shelters. They will be filled with items like cards, crayons, paints, puzzles, books, small toys and arts and crafts. 'Anything she can think of to make a child smile. This will be able to be used by the kids and family during these tough times or during car rides to appointments,' explains Tracy.

Paytin already has a number of donations and is hoping for more. 'I thank everyone for all they've done in helping me with all this stuff. You have a very big heart.'

If you want to help Paytin fill her Kids Kare Bags, you can contract Tracy on her Facebook page. 'They can purchase supplies, crafts, small treats, or anything that will put a smile on a child face.'

Paytin is a 'Hometown Hero' with a heart of gold. We salute you Paytin!
