With all the negative stories you see in the headlines each and every day, it's always nice to see a great story here locally. Just in Rome, one total stranger decided to help out a young couple with groceries.

Eddie Davidson shared a story to the People and Places of Rome NY Facebook group. The story was about his 23 year old step daughter Allison Kate Webber. Allison was shopping at the Tops store in Rome recently.  She's 6 months pregnant with her first child, which the family is excited to announce is a little boy. Her and her boyfriend John were paying for a gallon of milk and 2 loaves of bread. Unfortunately, they we're about 60 cents short. This would cause a moment of stress to many, but luckily a customer behind them wanted to change that for them.

A nice lady behind them didn't just put the remainder in, she paid for their groceries completely. This woman expressed to them that it "makes her happy to do it". The couple is completely thankful for this woman, and so is Eddie. They still don't know who this amazing stranger is, but they'd like to express a massive thank you.
