After being closed since early June, the ALDI location on South Madison Street in Rome is close to re-opening it doors.  The public is invited to attend the official ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand re-opening event which is planned for Thursday, July 20th. Customers can tour the newly remodeled store and enter an on-site sweepstakes for a chance to win a year's supply of store produce.

ALDI saves customers money by cutting overhead costs, such as a pay-per use cart system, and having customers bring and re-use their own shopping bags.

According to romesentinel.com, the remodeled Rome store located at 205 S. Madison Street will feature a new modern look and convenient shopping experience for it's customers. Store hours are 9am-8pm Monday-Friday and 9am-7pm Saturday and Sunday.

The company recently opened a 2,300 square foot location in the former Rite Aid building at 121 Herkimer Road in North Utica.
