Rita Rudner Turns 59 Today

Happy Birthday Rita Rudner.  The comedienne turns 59 today.

After graduating from high school at 15, Rudnerheaded to New York City to be a dancer. She appeared in several Broadway shows. Rudner didn't turn to comedy until she was 25. Since 2001, Rudner has performed almost exclusively in Las Vegas, selling over one million tickets.
