Just when we thought all of the excitement surrounding Boilermaker 15K had settled for awhile, we're suddenly rejuvenated with the notion that we can still run...the "Reverse Boilermaker."

You may be asking yourself: "Why in the world would I want to run the Boilermaker backwards?" On the other hand, you may be rejoicing that you'll have another opportunity to run America's premiere 15K road race...before next July.

Now's your opportunity to improve your finish time, and prove to yourself that you can and will do better; and you don't even have to wait until next summer. The "Reverse Boilermaker"  will start at the finish line on Court Street, and end at Donovan Stadium on Sunday August 14th. Oh, and you won't be physically running backwards; although that would be kinda cool.

According to WKTV:

There is no registration cost but the Mohawk Valley Hill Striders are asking for a donation in any amount be made to the Boilermaker Charity Bib Program. Registration is open to the first 200 people and will be held from 9:00 a.m. - Noon on Saturday, August 13 and from 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. On Sunday, August 14 - Race day.

There will be a 3.5 mile, and a 15K race, and if you're interested in volunteering for the event, please check out the Mohawk Valley Hill Striders Facebook page.
