Returning Soldier Surprises Son on School Picture Day [Video]

Do you remember what school picture day was like? There were many hours spent making the right wardrobe decision and even more time was spent practicing your smile in the mirror. No matter how well you think you posed for the photo, it usually ended up pretty bad. For one third grader in North Carolina, this last picture day is one he will remember forever.

The boy's father is Corporal James Bass. He had been deployed to Kuwait and decided to surprise his son with his return. There have been some really cool soldier and family reunion ideas, but this was pretty cool. This is also the best photobomb that I've seen! As I have said before, these stories will never get old.
